Engr. Obioha F. Okoroafor

GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mazi Obioha Okoroafor is a seasoned entrepreneur and engineer, recognized as the Founder and Group Managing Director of the HOBARK Group, a leading Indigenous Integrated Energy Services Group in sub-Saharan Africa. With a robust career spanning over three decades, Mazi Okoroafor has consistently demonstrated visionary leadership, entrepreneurial acumen, and a commitment to excellence.

Dr. Emmanuel Okoroafor

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, HOBARK INTERNATIONAL LTD

Prior to joining HOBARK in 2010 as the General Manager of Human Resources & Development, as well as the General Manager of Hobark International (UK) Limited, Dr. Okoroafor has held the positions of Head of Materials Technology and Senior Technologist at BOC Edwards in the UK as well as various teaching and research positions at universities in the UK. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Physics from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, a “Diplôme D’ Ingénieur in Nuclear Engineering from Ecole National Supérieure D’Ingénieurs Electriciens de Grenoble, France, and a PhD in Materials Science from Université Denis Diderot (Paris VII), Paris, France. He is a registered UK Engineering Council Chartered Engineer, and a fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (UK).

Engr. Augustine E. Omobhude

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/PARTNER, UNITERM

Prior to joining UNITERM as a Partner in 2010, Engr. Omobhude has held the positions of Drilling Manager, Performance Manager, Portfolio Manager in Nigeria and overseas. He possesses a Bachelors degree in Engineering and Masters in Business Administration. He is a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineer (SPE), Canadian Association of Drilling Engineers (CADE), and International Association of Drilling Contractor (IADC).

Engr. Festus I. Oketah

GM, DRILLPET INTERNATIONAL LTD

Prior to becoming the General Manager of DrillPet International Limited, Engr. Oketah was the Group Operations Manager of the Hobark Group of Companies. Before joining Hobark International Limited as Quality Control Manager in May 2007, he held the position of Production Workshop Manager in Michelin Nigeria Limited. He possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu and an Executive MBA (General Management) from Rivers State University of Science and Technology. A member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Local Content (FNILC).

Engr. Thomas Emetoh

MANAGING DIRECTOR, TUWAL LIMITED.

Engr. Emetoh has 28 years of experience in Oil and Gas operations, rising from Field Engineer to management positions in Africa, Europe, and the United States. He worked for Schlumberger Ltd from 1990 to 2007, after which he joined Baker Hughes where he worked till 2016. Prior to joining Hobark group as the Managing Director of Tuwal Limited, he was the President of Tuwa Consultants LLC, a Houston based oilfield consultancy business. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nigeria. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Engr. Chris Idisi

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/PARTNER, SOUTH WESTERN TECH. & OILFIELD SERVICES LTD

Since 2016, Engr. Chris Idisi has been the Executive Director and Partner for South Western Tech & Oilfield Services Limited. Before joining Hobark International, he worked for Schlumberger for 16 years where he held numerous operational and support positions. His last role was the Drilling and Measurement Operations Manager for West Africa (Lagos, Nigeria). Other positions Engr. Idisi has held are Operations Manager for Ghana, Ivory Coast & Remote (Accra, Ghana), Regional Operations Support Manager for Angola, East & Remote Africa ( Luanda, Angola), Europe Operations Support Manager (Ravenna, Italy), Drilling Service Manager (Stavanger, Norway) etc. He holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Canadian Association of Drilling Engineers (CADE).

Engr. Akinola Ogundare

MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO, H-PTP ENERGY SERVICES LIMITED

Akinola Ogundare is a seasoned professional with over 25 years industry experience. He has sound technical Drilling Engineering experience with renowned IOCs, including BP & Shell. Akin’s versatility and global exposure working in Africa, Europe, and the Americas has allowed him develop strong leadership, organisational and commercial skills required to successfully champion the affairs of an organization. He is a fully fledged professional with extensive experience in leading and implementing change within a global organisation. His latest achievement being his success at leading organizational change working as Regional Bly Report Implementation Manager post BP Macondo incident. Akinola holds a BSc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria and is a Member, Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Engr. Hope Okwa

DIRECTOR

Hope Okwa has over 27 years industry experience. He has strong technical Drilling Engineering experience with IOCs, NOCs and indigenous Companies including BP, Shell, BG, Saudi Aramco, Chevron, Addax, First E&P. He has acquired demonstrable expertise and competence in wells project planning and project delivery with a keen eye for value adding technology deployment. His involvement and participation in high-profile projects has allowed him garner capacity for leadership, mentorship and development of local expertise as well as working in difficult fiscal regimes to maximize profitability. Hope hold a BSc. Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and an MSc. in Petroleum Engineering form Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. He is a Member, Society of Petroleum Engineers and APEGA.

Engr. Frank Ndulue

DIRECTOR

Frank Ndulue holds a BEng degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering who has been involved in the diverse aspects of Well Engineering operations. With over 22 years industry experience, Frank has garnered strong technical competencies and management experience in Directional Drilling/MWD/LWD working with IOCs, NOCs and indigenous Companies (Shell, Exxon, Total, Addax,Chevron, Seplat) and across the West African Region. He has extensive experience in drilling risk management and optimisation, strong leadership, technical and commercial skills working with Schlumberger across the coast of West Africa. He was Businessline Manger with Schlumberger across the West Africa Business Unit. Frank’s rich experience in both the local and international energy industries has seen him build specialist expertise Drilling Optimisation, Services Management, and Technology Implementation.
